  • Initial Consultation: Conducted remotely via video conference (FaceTime, Zoom, Teams, etc.), priced at $200 per hour.
  • What’s Included: We guide you through a personalized questionnaire, review your space via video or photos, and offer initial insights on possibilities and timeframes for sourcing unique pieces.
  • In-Person Option: Available upon request, with pricing based on time and travel expenses.

Commitment Through Contract & Deposit

  • After your consultation, we’ll send you a contract outlining the scope of work and terms.
  • A deposit is required to secure your commitment and demonstrate your readiness to move forward.
  • The deposit ensures that when we find your one-of-a-kind pieces, you’re already invested in bringing them home.

Our Story: A Journey Through Creativity, Curiosity, and Connection

At the heart of Curio & Find are John and Kristy Dodson, a couple whose shared love for creativity and storytelling has shaped not only their lives but the spaces they now transform for others. Married since 1993, John and Kristy have spent years wandering small towns, antique markets, and estate sales, always on the lookout for treasures with a story to tell.

Kristy, with her BFA in Interior Design and a natural talent for blending beauty and function, spent 15 years as a teacher before turning her passion for writing, photography, and lifestyle betterment into her blog, Daybook. Since 2022, she has shared her journey of discovery with a growing audience.

John, a seasoned creative director with a 30-year career in graphic design and advertising, has built a reputation for his eye for detail and passion for crafting memorable narratives. His love for travel, history, and meeting people with stories to share is reflected in the care and thought he brings to every project.

Together, they bring a unique perspective on design—one that’s rooted in curiosity, travel, and a deep appreciation for the charm of forgotten objects.
